Today I did chapter four on Adobe Flash. I haven't been working on it that much in the past week. I need to start working on that more. But in the past three weeks I guess I have done a good amount of work. I have finished some Flash lessons, wrote an essay and started working on a website. I need a lot more work done on my HTML website, because it looks very poor as of the moment. But after some time, it will all come together.

Today I started writing my paper on trends in technology. I am writing about cellphones- how they worked and the changes that have been made up to this day. I explained that before, analog phones were limited, but newer digital cell phones so they can fit more channels within a given bandwidth. I will finish up tomorrow.

Today I worked on chapter 4 on Flash. I am not finished but I made a hand with a cell phone and it shows a text message coming in. I dont know why but for some strange reason the cell phone is beeping the whole time. It gets kind of annoying. I have to go back and fix it. I think I inserted the music into too many frames. I guess I had another layer selected when I did it. I should finish this tomorrow and start chapter 5. I dont want to get behind because of my projects.

Today I gathered some info for an assignment about trends in technology. I am doing cell phones, as I posted yesterday. I just have to get all of my information gathered up and put in order so I can just type it up. I still need a lot more information if I want my paper to be a good length. Today Mr. Bjerke talked to us about HTML (hyper text markup language) We will be using it to create our own web page. It will take some time, because you have to get all of the information to go on your page, then you have to tell it every specific code so it will go in the order you want it to. Today I finished an animation for my six weeks exam. I created two stick figures duking it out. I don't have enough time to post it on my blog right now, so I'll just put it on here tomorrow. First, it is two guys fighting when one big guy comes to beat them both up. At first, one runs away, but then comes flying into action again and they both win. I have to get back to this tomorrow.

Today I finished part of my 6 weeks exam in computer apps. I had to alter one of the images that I previously worked on. For this one, I gave it a filter effect, neon glow. I gave the words 'pitch in' a different one, a craquelure effect, putting some cracks in the letters. For the neon glow, I used a bluish color. I also added an image into the picture. I added the shovel and pail and used the magic eraser tool to take away the white background that got put in when I pasted the image. At the end, I blurred out the words unde pitch in because they wouldnt show up on my blog.

Today I finished chapter 7 and started 8 on photoshop. Chapter 7 is the one with the house. I cut out one of the windows on part of the house and replaced it in an empty space on a different part. Then I put one part of the wall over a wreath to cover it up. I am still working on chapter 8. For that I used the type tool and created a clipping mask.

Today didn't work on Adobe Photoshop. There weren't enough photoshop packets in the crate. So I just fooled around with the tools. Then I visited some of the links that Mr. Bjerke posted in his blog in the past couple of days. One was creating some kind of text but I guess the size of the words depends on the frequency of them being used. It was weird and I really didn't get it. I also read some blogs in Google Reader. CMYK- Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black: A color model where colors are described as a mixture of the four colors stated above; processed colors. It is the standard color model used in offset printing for documents in full color. It is called four-color printing because this printing uses inks of these four colors.

Additive vs. Subtractive color: Additive color models use light from direct sources. It usually uses red, green, and blue to create different colors. Combining two of these colors in equal amount produces a secondary color-cyan, magenta and yellow. Subtractive color models mix paints, inks, etc, to create a range of colors. Each color is created by the mixture of colors absorbing specific wave links of light and reflecting others. So colors depend on what color of light. I will have to get back on this.

Adobe Illustrator is a brand of software where you can create graphics and unique distortions. Most professional designers use this software when working. Before it was converted to Windows, it was originally created for Macintosh. Before you use this software, you should brush up on your knowledge of it, because it is required if you are seeking a serious job in this field. There are also some drawbacks to using this software. It takes longer to learn than most would like. It is also more difficult to save symbols and objects that you create. Overall, it is a reliable and professional software and I would recommend it.

Today I did some exploring. I found some info on Microsoft PowerPoint, Open Office Impress, and IBM Symphony Presentations.

MICROSOFT POWER POINT: You can make different kinds of presentations, such as slide shows. You can add pictures and info that you find on the internet, and modify how you want the different contents arranged.

OPEN OFFICE IMPRESS: This is just like Power Point, except this one takes you through different steps when creating your presentation. Such as how long you want the slides to be, and what template you want.

IBM SYMPHONY PRESENTATIONS: I couldn't locate this software.

Other than that I am trying to find enough information on recycling electronics so I can work on the other aspects of my project. I am also finding out about the "H" drive that Mr. Bjerke told us to save documents on.

2. The paper that I am currently working on is about why it is important to recycle electronics, because they are very harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly.

3. I think that we are writing these papers so others can understand our project, and to improve our writing skills.

Today I started to work on an essay for my project. I am actually going to do electronic recycling instead of software design as I said previously. I am almost done with it although I am still researching. But I think I'll do good

I don't know what else to write about, so I'll tell you about the blog I read where they had like a museum full of models that were made out of cans. They had lions, tigers, and bears.(oh my!) It was off the chain. Look it up.

Would you ever believe it if I told you they made usb drives look like food. They are totally gangster. They had one like a hot dog and one like a cheeseburger. I don't quite recall the other ones. They are tight so you better get one fool!

Today, I saw an interesting form of a blowdryer. It was in the form of a gun. It was a revolver with a pink handle. I don't know about you but I think that was kinda cool. You should check it out

500 dalar hybrid car

I read earlier about a hybrid car that costs 500 bucks. It looks like a very interesting car. Like the superheroes have. I don't know what colors they have but you should look it up if you are interested and don't have a car.

portable ipod chargers

I read about Duracell creating a portable charger for the ipod. I am writing about this because I think it is convenient. So if you have an ipod and hate to have it die on the road, I highly suggest this. So you should check it out
